Huawei Mate 8 now available in South Africa
Huawei Mate 8 has launched in South Africa and is available at all Vodacom outlets, starting from 8 April 2016.
One of the most anticipated phones of 2016, Huawei Mate 8 offers fast 3 GB RAM and a smooth 3D gaming experience, allowing you to download and use several heavy duty apps. Other features include a fingerprint scanner that allows you control your smartphone with ease, dual SIM support, top-notch voice quality along with a metal-slim body design that is exceptionally wonderful to see. It also weighs only 185 grams, which is light for a smartphone.
The Huawei Mate 8 will run the Android 6.0 Mashmallow version and also include speed recognition thanks to the i5 co-processor. Huawei has also promised an extended battery life on the Mate 8.
The sleek smartphone will be available in South Africa for a price of R12,999 from Vodacom. You will also be able to purchase it on contract for R579. The 3 GB Ram, 32 GB internal storage version will launch in SA.
Huawei Mate 8 launched last night in a glitz and glamour event in Fourways, and the likes of Micasa’s J Something (who is the creative director and brand ambassador of Huawei) were in attendance.
In the launch event, Huawei also announced the other ambassadors who will be joining J Something, they are Lynette Magasa, Ryk Neethling and entrepreneur Shaldon Kopman.
“We believe that our ambassadors are the best in their industries and pursue both success and challenges in their respective fields, demonstrating and striving towards Huawei’s shared value of greatness,” says Charlene Munilall, who is the General Manager for Huawei Consumer Business Group SA.
The Huawei Mate 8 is a smartphone that is on another level, not just for business, but for your personal life.
