LG introduces the metal smartphone LG Zero
South Korean electronics manufacturer LG is almost synonymous with premium leather covers along with a curved design language. However, breaking all image barriers, it has caught many unawares by introducing and unveiling an all metal phone- the Zero.
This all new mid-range Smartphone has been first unveiled in Taiwan, Korea and would be gradually introduced later in other key markets including Europe, Asia and Latin America.
Apart from its aluminium body with hallmark special ‘Arc Glass’ design, lending it an overall slimmer appearance, the phone offers numerous features to delight its consumers. The unit would be running Android 5.1 “Lollipop.”It showcases a 5-inch HD in-cell touch display with 1280 x 720 resolutions at 294ppi. Running a 1.2GHz Quad-Core chipset, it is backed by 1.5 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB of internal storage with option to extend it through microSD card. It has a 2,050mAh battery.
The unit further boasts of a 13 megapixel rear camera combined with 8 megapixel front snapper and all features of G series smartphones like Gesture Shot, Gesture View and Gesture Interval Shot. It can easily be connected through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or USB 2.0. Consumers can choose between the gold and the silver colour. Its pricing and participating carriers locally may be announced soon.
