Samsung unveils its next-gen Galaxy A models


Plagued by leaks this year, Samsung was quiet on this year’s Galaxy A series constituting of Galaxy A3, A5, and A7. Now finally putting an end to rumors about how it would fight off Apple’s latest iPhone 6 devices, Samsung has finally officially unveiled its redesigned next-generation all new Galaxy S6 Smartphones. These exhibit giant leaps in style, design, components and features from all previous models. Each of the devices has been renamed as A3 (2016), A5 (2016), and A7 (2016).

The models were unveiled by the company in a December 2 announcement. It would be first launched in China somewhere in mid December and then introduced to other markets gradually in 2016. Presently, the prices too are unknown.

These flashier and better sculptured Galaxy A devices would be constructed of premium metal and glass like the original series but each would have a preinstalled fingerprint scanner and would support ‘Samsung Pay’. The first look of the models successfully oozes the impression that they are bang on target and pack sufficient power to take on the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus and provide tough competition.

The unit’s screen wraps around both sides of the Smartphone providing more screen real estate and capabilities. It sure is a unit to look forward to.
